Blake Tutorial Series – Part 8 – Boot Modeling…
In part 8 of Blake’s tutorial series we go ahead and add in a nice futuristic/techno-punkish boot.

Nothing super new in this part either, but we do start to model some solid surfaces with the steel toe boots, so a bit of a different mind set. There are also certainly a number of things that could have been done more efficiently in this part, but bear with me. I get a bit distracted and nervous when recording!
**WARNING** This part comes out to just over 50 minutes, so grab a nice large cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or egg nog (for the holiday) before starting!

This week’s highlight section is probably known by most of you, but for everyone who doesn’t know, CGTalk is the biggest computer graphic forum on the web. The best artwork on the internet is posted here and the new challenge they have started proves to be no exception. Seriously wonderful work being done in the competition. I’m always in awe of some of the work that gets put up there! I’d really like to enter this one, and have a few ideas floating around, we’ll see…
